We only ever collect and use our users’ personal data where this is necessary for providing a functioning website and our contents and services. Our users’ personal data are usually only collected when using the contact sheet and only the provided information by the user.

DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING

Personal data (e.g. name, address, email, etc.) does not have to be provided in order to use our online services.

MAKING CONTACT

Personal data are collected if you disclose them to us voluntarily. This may be the case, for example, in relation to pre-contractual measures, such as ordering services, recording registration data for closed user groups, for applications relating to advertised job vacancies or orders for newsletters and information material. Your data are also treated confidentially in these cases and is not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for the purpose of completing your order.

The processing of this data takes place within the framework of pre-contractual measures that are necessary to provide the service offered, in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR. The data will then be deleted unless the data is still required for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. If Eurobar is obliged to archive your personal data due to legal obligations, for example compliance with retention requirements in accordance with HGB and AO, these will be blocked for further processing. After the retention periods have expired, the data will be deleted without any problems and in compliance with data protection regulations.

If you wish to contact us by email, you should be aware that the content of unencrypted emails may be read by unauthorised third parties.

We therefore recommend that you send any confidential information in encrypted form.
